March 19, 1965 – November 12, 2025
Thomas John Wilcox, 60, passed away suddenly on November 12, 2025.
Born on March 19, 1965, Tom grew up in Saginaw, Michigan, and graduated from high school in 1983. Shortly after, he moved to Marco Island, Florida, where he began what became a lifelong and successful career in sales and catering.
Tom was a free spirit—joyful, creative, and endlessly passionate. He was a true lover of music, film, and his beloved Detroit Lions. His artistic nature led him to appear on screen as an extra in Hollywood films, and he performed in several local bands, always with his favorite Fender electric guitars in hand. A gifted songwriter, Tom wrote and recorded more than 35 original songs throughout his life.
He was blessed to know his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and carried his faith with him always. Tom will forever watch over the ones he loved.
Tom is survived by his brother, Robert Wilcox of Michigan; his son, Dillon Wilcox of Utah; his soulmate, Liz Murphy ❤️️ of South Florida; and his loyal dog and best friend, Freddy.
He leaves behind a legacy of music, laughter, and love—one that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
