Terry Glenn Bennett (July 30, 1948 – April 21, 2026) passed away at the age of 77 on April 21, 2026. He was born on July 30, 1948, in Rockford, Illinois.
Terry dedicated many years of his life to his career as a head mechanic and manager with Firestone, serving both the Rockford, Illinois and Jackson, Tennessee communities. He was known for his strong work ethic, mechanical skill, and steady leadership.
He was the son of the late Harry George Bennett and Harriet Kay (Hubbard) Bennett.
Terry is survived by his loving wife, Lori Bennett; his former spouse, Karen; two brothers, Tom Bennett and Steve Bennett; and his children, Shannon (Tab) Connors, Terry Bennett Jr., and Jennifer (Randy) Elder. He also leaves behind six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
