Roger Dale “Rocky” Stanfield, age 70, of Waverly, Tennessee, passed away on August 21, 2025.
Rocky lived life to the fullest and was known for his fun-loving spirit. He enjoyed playing the guitar, cheering on NASCAR—especially his favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt—and sharing his love of music and laughter with those around him. He took pride in his style, from his shoes and sunglasses to his cologne, always carrying himself with a touch of personality that was uniquely his.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Stanfield (Crowell); his four sons, Michael (Jessica), Rocky, James, and Josh (Leigh Ann); and his five grandsons, Gavin, Brady, Avery, Ryder, and Walker. He is also survived by his brothers, Dicky (Sandra), David, and Steve.
Preceded in death by his father William Howard Stanfield and mother Delilah Wills Stanfield Rocky’s life was a celebration of joy, family, and the simple things he cherished most. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
