Raymond Edward “Ray” Foster, Jr., age 79, of McEwen and Joelton, Tennessee, passed away on March 30, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn K. Guy and Raymond E. Foster, Sr.; and brothers, Tom Guy and Steve Morrison.
Ray is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Jane Foster; children, Stacey (Ricky) Stewart and Chris (Kim) Smith; and grandchildren, Lexie (Keith), Remington (Monika), Chase (Amy), Sydney (Corbett), Carson, and great-granddaughter Addison.
He is also survived by his sister, Brenda Foster; sister-in-law, Kim Guy; niece, Brittney; nephews, Chuck, Thomas, Weston, and Noah; numerous cousins; and special lifelong friends, Mickey Y., Mary R., Joey B., and Danny L., and friends from a lifetime.
Ray was born in 1946 and graduated from Antioch High School in 1965. He proudly served in the National Guard. A hardworking and dedicated man, Ray owned PAK-A-Sak and spent over 20 years as a home builder in Portland, Tennessee.
Ray will be remembered as a man who was simply the best—steadfast, hardworking, and deeply loved by all who knew him.
