With heavy hearts and much love, we celebrate the life of Linda Williamson, who passed away at the age of 61 after a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
Linda was a woman of quiet strength, steady faith, and a heart that made everyone feel at home. She lived her life with warmth, humor, and a deep love for the people around her. Whether she was casting a line on the water, trying a new recipe, working on a craft, or playing cards with family and friends, Linda found joy in life’s simple, meaningful moments.
Above all else, Linda loved her family. They were truly the center of her world. She is survived by her husband, Tracy Williamson of Paris, TN; her daughters, Renee Norris (Austin Fennell) of Nashville, TN, and Brooke Dorris (Colby) of Munford, TN; and her greatest joys, her grandson Carter, and her beloved pups, Ruby and Rudy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Evelyn Rapp, and her brothers, Michael and Gary Rapp.
Linda had a way of filling a room with love and laughter, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. There is a space in our hearts that can never be filled, but we hold onto the comfort of knowing her love remains with us—and that one day, we will see her again.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Hyde Pavilion at Shelby Farms Park.
In the meantime, we carry forward her kindness, her laughter, and the way she made life feel a little brighter just by being in it.
