Mr. Phillip Dean Vandiver, age 75, a resident of Gleason, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born on August 24, 1951, in McKenzie, Tn, to the late John Lucian Vandiver and Tommie Vera Savage Vandiver. Phillip was a member at Tennessee Valley Community Church in Paris, Tn. He retired from FedEx.
After he retired, Phillip enjoyed spending time with family and friends, pursuing the hobbies he loved the most, including riding his motorcycle, reading books, collecting, tinkering, and trading.
Mr. Vandiver is survived by his wife of 26 years, Lori Gail Bugg Vandiver of Sharon, Tn; his four children, Jason (Tara) Vandiver of Huntingdon, Tn, Amanda Cochran of Gleason, Tn, Sarah (Bryan) Rivera of Bonaire, GA, Janna (Jon) Bizzle of Dresden, Tn; Eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Phillip is preceded in death by a brother, William Glen Vandiver. Services will be held at Tennessee Valley Community Church in Paris, Tn on September 26th, at 4:30 p.m. A Memorial Ride will be announced at a later date.
