Services for Doug Crouse will be held Monday June 29, 2026 in Jackson TN at South Jackson Church of Christ. Visitation will be 3-4pm with services following at 4:00pm.
Doug (age 75) passed away peacefully June 22, 2026 at his home surrounded by family. He was born June 14, 1951 in Hornsby TN. He is preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Graple Odean Crouse. He is also preceded in death by a sister Gail Crouse. He is survived by one sister Brenda Fish(Danny) of Bolivar TN.
Doug leaves behind a legacy of love through his family. Survivors include his wife of 56 years Carolyn McGarrh Crouse that he always referenced to as his lovely bride. Two daughters Ginger Day(Jeff), Penny Wray(Jason) and one son Jason Crouse(Michelle). He was blessed with eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. They were the light of his life.
Doug was a member of South Jackson Church of Christ, He deeply loved his church family.
He truly enjoyed life, Doug and Carol loved to travel and follow all the grandchildren at anything they were involved in. If you knew Doug you heard the story of The Legend of the Hoopneck. May the Hoopneck rest in peace.
