Richard Hoover Lambert II was born on June 21, 1969, to his parents, Richard Hoover Lambert I and Helen Marie Lambert. As the eldest of five siblings, Richard carried a strong sense of responsibility, determination, and devotion to family throughout his life.
At the age of 18, Richard began working in the oil fields. Through hard work, perseverance, and dedication, he built a successful career and eventually rose to the position of Inspecting Engineer. His profession took him across the country, but no matter where he traveled, his heart remained with his family.
Although his work often required him to be away from home, he always made sure to be there for the special moments, milestones, and memories that mattered most.
Richard was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Nimfa, and a proud father to his beloved children, Khylie and Ronin, of Nesbit, Mississippi. His children were the center of his world and his greatest source of pride and joy. Everything he did was motivated by his love for them and his desire to provide them with every opportunity possible.
Outside of work, Richard enjoyed reading, watching movies, and spending time with his beloved tiny dogs. He was known for his generous heart, loving nature, and willingness to help others as well as his love for God. He shared a particularly close bond with his mother and treasured the relationships he had with family and friends.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Nimfa; his cherished children, Khylie and Ronin, of Nesbit, Mississippi; as well as many siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Hoover Lambert I and Helen Marie Lambert; his brother, Damon; his cousin, Scooter; and other beloved family members who welcomed him into Heaven.
While his passing leaves an immeasurable void, those who loved him find comfort in knowing he has been reunited with the family members who went before him. His legacy of hard work, sacrifice, kindness, and unwavering love for his family will continue to live on through all who knew him.
Above all else, Richard was a family man. His greatest accomplishment and deepest love were his children, Khylie and Ronin. They were his heart, his purpose, and the light of his life. His love for them will remain everlasting.
“Those we love don’t go away,
they walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard but always near,
still loved, still missed
and held so dear.”
