Billy “BJ” Bolin, 40, of Trenton, Tennessee, passed away on October 23, 2025. BJ was known for his humor, honesty, and big heart. He was the kind of person who would help anyone in need and could make anyone laugh. A true lover of nature, BJ enjoyed hiking, collecting arrowheads, and learning new things. He had a natural gift for figuring things out and solving any problem that came his way. To know him was to love him — BJ was truly one of a kind.
He loved his children dearly — Billy Jack, Adrianna, and Gannon — and they were the light of his life. BJ is survived by his mother, Tina Pierson; his brother Jacob Pierson and his children, Jacob and Addison; Joe and Tiffany Pierson and their children, Joe II, Eli, Khloe, Kinlee, and Evie; and Robert and Skylar Pierson and their children, Brooklyn, Trinity, and Everlee. He is also survived by his grandmother, Linda Summers, and his uncles, Jerry Bolin, Terry Bolin, and Robert Ray Bolin, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who loved him deeply. He is remembered by BJ and Courtney Cato and Gannon’s mother, Emily. He now rejoins his beloved soulmate, Stacy Bolin, in eternal peace.
A Celebration of Life for BJ will be held this weekend, with details to be shared closer to the time. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor and remember his incredible spirit. BJ will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His laughter, loyalty, and love for life will never be forgotten.
